Wheeling Jesuit Senior Megan Graham Named WV Women's Soccer Player of the Year

Coach Carrie Hanna earns Coach of the Year

The West Virginia Conference women's soccer coaches named Wheeling Jesuit University senior Megan Graham as the league's Player of the Year. Her coach, Wheeling Jesuit women's soccer coach Carrie Hanna earned Coach of the Year accolades from her peers.

Graham, a three-time first team all-WVIAC midfielder, played a big role in Wheeling Jesuit's 20 - 4 campaign. Tallying 12 goals and four assists, the Pleasant Hills, Ca. native continued her huge contribution as a player for the WVIAC tournament champions.

Coach Hanna led Wheeling Jesuit to the conference's regular season and tournament championships. The 20 - 4 Cardinals made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament where they fell 2 - 0 to Northern Kentucky, on Nov. 11.

Wheeling Jesuit has won 22 consecutive contests against league foes. The former Cardinal player owns a 64-21-3 record after four seasons as Lady Cardinals Head Coach.

Wheeling Jesuit leads the first team all-league squad with six selections. Concord, the second place finisher in the regular season, had four honorees. Davis & Elkins, Shepherd and Salem International each recorded a pair of picks.

Other Wheeling Jesuit winners include: First team honors: sophomore Lauren Lewicki, sophomore Erica Maine, senior Rachel Napoli, senior Megan Graham, senior Meghan O'Rourke and sophomore Lindsay Getz.

Second Team honors: junior Katie Rooma and sophomore Katelyn Miracle.

Honorable mentions: freshman Elizabeth Lipovsky and sophomore Katie Groff.
