Message from Rev. Charles Currie SJ, Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities

Father Currie is the President of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. He is also a former president of Wheeling Jesuit, serving from 1972-82.

WHEELING, WV, Aug. 24, 2009 - The following message by Father Currie was released to the presidents of the 28 Jesuit Colleges and Universities in the United States.

"Maryland Provincial James Shea, S.J. supports the action of the Wheeling Jesuit Board of Trustees and the University's efforts to move forward in a positive manner. The Provincial of the New England Province, the Rev. Myles Sheehan, S.J. has asked Father Julio Giulietti to return to New England for discernment regarding a new ministry and assignment."
