East Coast Singer-Songwriter Adam Day to Perform at Ratt

Wheeling, WV, Oct. 27, 2009 — Wheeling Jesuit University welcomes singer/songwriter Adam Day to campus at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. The show takes place in the Ratt, located in Swint Hall and is open to the public.

Day has recently released the CD I Stayed Up Late to Make This, which includes a dynamic collection of new material recorded independently. On top of Day’s rich vocals, his quirky and lovable performance style leaves people feeling comforted, moved and charmed.

Since growing into the college scene, Day has wowed large local and college audiences in many cities up and down the East Coast. He can be found on You Tube and My Space performing his music.

He lists his influences as Counting Crows, Coldplay, Ray LaMontagne, Indigo Girls, Ryan Adams, John Mayer, Garth Brooks, Brad Wolfe, Ben Folds and Johnny Cash.

Day has been playing since he was 16 but didn’t set out for the touring life right away. First he attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y., and graduated with a degree in music production. He grew up near Annapolis, Md.
