WHEELING, W.Va. - Wheeling Jesuit announced today a new online Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) degree, bringing the school’s research-oriented, Jesuit education to busy working professionals. The new program is designed to provide students career advancement with the flexibility to work around their daily lives, packaged in a 22-month time frame.

“The MSOL program really challenges you to take a look a how you do, what you do.” says P.J. Reindel, WJU Alumni in the MSOL program. “It challenges you to make yourself better, and the people around you better within your organization.”
Reindel also reflected on the opportunity to obtain your MSOL degree online: “I think with all programs at Wheeling Jesuit, it certainly lends itself to a personal encounter with the professor and the students here. I think it works on a level that is both workable in terms of trying to accomplish it with a full time job, but also challenges you in ways to better yourself.”
Course work is directly tied to the needs and objectives of the student’s employer or organization. Students will graduate from the program with the skills to define and solve organizational problems and make valuable contributions to the workplace.
Despite the desire to earn a master’s degree, often times family responsibilities and
workplace schedules leave little time for attending classes at pre-determined dates,
times and locations. Wheeling Jesuit University has been offering online degree programs for more than two decades, proving earning a master’s degree online is obtainable with personalized attention.
Wheeling Jesuit University President Richard A. Beyer says online education provides the flexibility busy, professional adults need. “Fortunately, technology allows our students to engage with professors and complete their master’s degree regardless of distance or workplace demands” Beyer added. “We understand that personal and professional deadlines continue while students earn a master’s degree. That is why academic advisors work directly with each student to select a graduate program that fits their personal and professional needs.”
“An advanced degree from Wheeling Jesuit University delivers a lifetime competitive edge.” Beyer added. “WJU was founded on the 450-year Jesuit tradition of academic excellence. Among higher education institutions worldwide, the Jesuit brand commands credibility and alumni tell us that a WJU graduate degree never goes out of style.”
