WHEELING, W.Va., May 30, 2017 - In order to meet the needs of today's adult learners and their busy lifestyles, Wheeling Jesuit University Master's of Business Administration (MBA) program will be offered completely online.
The online program launches in the fall semester beginning August 21 with a revised career focused curriculum, which is relevant for today's business leaders. WJU's online MBA is competitively priced, making it affordable for those wishing to earn an advanced degree.
“The new online MBA allows more flexibility for today's students since all of the coursework is offered outside the boundaries of a physical campus or a time of day,” said Laurie McCullough, vice president of Professional Studies at Wheeling Jesuit.
WJU's online MBA offers six start times per year, with two, seven-week sessions each semester. Students will complete 36 total credit hours to receive the degree, which they can complete in as little as one year. This new format makes it easier for students to earn a degree in a shorter period of time, McCullough explained.
“Our new online MBA is a work and family friendly alternative as it allows you to be in control of your time. No commuting, rushing from work to get to class or missing important family time due to a class schedule. We are excited to offer this new format and know that our online MBA will provide access to many students who couldn't attend our traditional, on-site offering,” McCullough added.
WJU's online MBA is also an affordable program, she explained. The per credit tuition was lowered from $665 to $500 to make the MBA accessible to more students.
