POSITION SUMMARY:  The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach performs the overall management, supervision and coordination of the men's lacrosse program and supervises the Fitness Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience coaching lacrosse preferably at the college level
• Must have a valid driver’s license

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Represents WJU for all conference meetings with ECAC. 
• Establishes schedules and makes travel arrangements.
• Administers the operational budget for the program.
• Coordinates recruitment and scholarships.
• Monitors academic advisement and progress of student-athletes.
• Represents the University in meetings pertaining to men's lacrosse.
• Prepares for practice and games, including scouting of opponents.
• Purchases and stores equipment and uniforms.
• Arranges for medical exams for student-athletes.
• Supervises university work-study employees involved in men's lacrosse and the Fitness Center.
