POSITION SUMMARY:   Tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank.  Must be able to teach introductory and upper level courses in Constitutional Law, Civil Rights and Liberties and American Politics and Institutions.  Teaching load is typically four (4) courses/three preps per semester.  The successful candidate will play an integral role in the growth and direction of the Department of Political Science.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• ABD’s will be considered, PhD preferred.
• Teaching experience and ability, a commitment to scholarly inquiry, a willingness to explore interdisciplinary questions and a commitment to advance the University’s mission are strongly preferred.
