TITLE:  Faculty Position

DEPARTMENT:  Political Science
   
QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants should be able to teach introductory and upper level courses in Constitutional Law and American Politics.  ABD’s will be considered, but a Ph.D. is preferred.  Candidates who possess teaching experience and ability, a commitment to scholarly inquiry, a willingness to explore interdisciplinary questions and a commitment to advance the University’s mission are strongly preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Department of Political Science is accepting applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank.  The teaching load is typically four (4) courses/three (3) preps per semester.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop upper-level courses in his or her specialty and will play an integral role in the direction of the Department of Political Science.
