BA/BS to BSN Curriculum

The Second Degree Nursing Program is designed for students who have already earned a four-year college degree but desire earn their BSN. The only core class Accelerated BSN students must take is ethics. Each cohort forms in May and graduates in December of the following year. All courses are offered on campus.

Prerequisite courses include:

  • Anatomy and Physiology I and II (6 credits)
  • Chemistry (3 credits)
  • General Psychology (3 credits)
  • Developmental Psychology (3 credits)
  • Microbiology/Epidemiology (2 credits)
  • Statistics (3 credits)
