Betty Faye Thacker Award of Excellence

Dr. Betty Faye Thacker was a Professor and Chair of the Biology Department for over thirty years. During those decades she was the guide and mentor to hundreds of pre-professional students who still remember the rigor and excellence of her teaching. This award is presented to the top Biology student of the year.
