John E. Mansuy
John Mansuy began his professional career in the United States Air Force. Most of the time in the Air Force, he was a program manager for large scale software development projects ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to one hundred million dollars. Upon retirement, he worked for a defense contractor, Robbins-Gioia, who provided project management support to Air Force programs. He has been teaching in the Wheeling Jesuit University Business Department and Center for Professional and Graduate Studies for over 20 years. John’s primary teaching responsibilities are quantitative business, operations management and information systems in the MBA program. During his time at Wheeling Jesuit, John has also taught a number of undergraduate courses in the Bachelor in Organizational Leadership (BOLD) program and has developed and taught several modules in the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program. He has also done consulting and operated several small businesses including real estate development. He has written a number of business plans for various organizations and businesses. In 1996, he was voted the Entrepreneur Educator of the Year by the Bill Blair Entrepreneur Academy of Wheeling, WV. John has served on several community organizations and as Wheeling Jesuit University’s NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative, he has represented the WV Intercollegiate Athletic Conference at the NCAA national level in a number of positions. John earned an Associates degree in Accounting from Keystone College, a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, a MSE degree in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from West Virginia University. |
