WJU's Institute for the Study of Capitalism and Morality has established a yearly faculty research grant to study the relationship between capitalism and morality. This grant is open to all full-time faculty at Wheeling Jesuit University.

The Institute also sponsors a yearly student research competition on capitalism and morality that is open to students from all majors. The best papers will receive awards.
