Allen H. Marangoni, PT, EdD, MMSc, RRT

Dr. Marangoni has been teaching at Wheeling Jesuit University for the past 25 years. His life long learning has resulted in a broad background in several areas of Health Sciences. Physical Therapy and teaching are both high on his list of favorite things to do, but they are supported and broadened by his additional training as a Physician's Assistant, a Respiratory Therapist and as a Medical Technologist. His primary research interests investigate how Repetitive Stress Injuries and static positioning are responsible for pain and discomfort in the workplace. He has presented the topic at several international meetings and has recently had a paper published that summarizes the effects of the treatments he uses to lessen the pain associated with the use of personal computers. He is actively involved in departmental service learning locally at a dialysis center and internationally in Mexico. In addition to his work at the University, Dr. Marangoni remains involved in direct patient in the homecare and skilled nursing environments.
