Career Options in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Receiving a bachelor of science degree in nuclear medicine technology prepares the graduate for many rewarding career opportunities. These include opportunities to work in a hospital or clinic setting, a business environment, a radiopharmacy, or an educational institution. Many graduates further their education by obtaining a master's degree in a related field of choice, such as business, education, public administration, radiation physics or radiation safety.

Nuclear medicine technology graduates are also able to further pursue other careers in health care by attending medical or dental school, pharmacy school, physical therapy or physician assistant programs.
