Department of Respiratory Therapy

Overview

Respiratory care is a life-supporting, life-enhancing health care profession practiced under qualified medical direction. This professional specialty uses scientific principles to identify and treat acute or chronic dysfunction of the cardiopulmonary system and promote optimal health. Respiratory therapy is a unique field, blending hands-on patient care with advanced technology.
