The Helman Prize

This award is named in honor of Mrs. Anna C. Helman, mother of Rabbi Leonard Helman. Rabbi Helman taught at Wheeling College from 1967-1974. The winner of this award must maintain a 3.5 average in at least six courses of theology, and maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0. In addition to this scholastic achievement, the recipient must show promise of future service to the Church or the study of theology.
