Political Science
The Political Science major provides the student an opportunity to look deeply at the way people govern themselves or are governed. One focus is on the American government, at the national, state and local levels. Another focus is on the way nations relate to one another, and the cultural differences which may explain both how foreign governments operate and how they deal with other countries in the international field. A third emphasis is to examine the theories and values people employ to establish what government and politics should be like.
