The Appalachian Institute tracks and publicizes information on legislation impacting economic
and environmental conditions in Appalachia such as: Watersheds preservation, Sustainable
Energy Choices, Public Health, and Fair Labor Practices. Actions include:

 
         - Postings of upcoming regional and national legislation and representative contact
           information.
         - Trips to Charleston to attend Citizen Lobbying Day events
         - Connecting groups with similar goals and objectives to complement and expand
           programming.
