The Class of 1960 is the second class in Wheeling Jesuit's history to reach the milestone of celebrating a 50th Anniversary. In honor of this grand occasion, the Class of 1960's reunion/gift committee wanted to give something speical back to the school.

They asked the Alumni Office for suggestions, and made the commitment to raise $20,000 in support of two very important projects:

• Create a state-of-the-art multi-media equipped classroom in the McDonough Center
• Replace badly-worn furniture in the Erickson Alumni Center

They invited members of the Class of 1959 to join them back on Wheeling Jesuit's campus in June, to celebrate together once agian. They also extended an invitation to them to join in support of these two great projects in honor of their own 50th anniversary, which was celebreated at the end of last May.

A plaque will be placed outside of each of those rooms with the names of the donors.

Members of the Class of 1960 Reunion committee are Carolyn Cannon, Phyllis Faber Kelley, John Mensore, Al Reed, Ed Shahady and Sandy Piper Sonneborn.
