Alumni In Recruitment

Since 1954 Wheeling Jesuit University has built an educational system strong in Jesuit traditions and academic excellence. Our like minded alumni share a common experience, an educational structure that has prepared them to be leaders in their communities, exceptional professionals in their field of work and life-long learners in a complex society. The activity of serving with and for others is a core value in our mission statement. It's the core value which inspires alumni like you to support your university. As an alumni volunteer, you can encourage academically talented students to attend your alma mater. By sharing your pride and experiences with high school and transfer students, you strengthen the university and the world.

As an AIR volunteer, your involvement will provide the personal attention that can shape a student's college choice. Sharing what you know about Wheeling Jesuit will give prospective students an inside, personal look into what makes the University special.

The AIR program is a collaborative effort between Alumni Council, the Alumni Office and the Office of Enrollment Management. Thank you for your consideration.

Alumni in Recruitment (AIR) volunteers can help Wheeling Jesuit's admissions efforts in three ways. AIR volunteers are encouraged to participate in one or more of the following activities:

To become an AIR volunteer, please fill out the AIR Volunteer Form or contact Julia Cook, Director of Alumni Relations at jcook@wju.edu or 304.243.8160.

Once you have selected an AIR program, the Alumni Office will serve as your liaison with the Office of Enrollment Management and help guide you through the process.
