They are currently residing in Coraopolis, PA, where James is a
technician for the Sony Corporation.
Kevin N. Mowles '78 married Amy Dortenzio on July 14, 1996. They
reside in Bowie, MD, where Kevin is a software engineer for AlliedSignal
Technical Services Corporation.
Kevin Laird '85 married Paula Maochi on May 24, 1997. They reside
in Pittsburgh, PA.
Joseph B. Chandler III '85 married Mary Koszarek on May 4, 1996.
He is employed with the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News as an
advertising executive.
John F. Fitzpatrick '87 married Ellen Catherine Bella in December
of 1996. He is a director in media relations and public affairs with the
Association of American Railroads. They reside in Alexandria, VA.

Paula Steele '91 married F. Davis Drumheller on Sept. 21, 1996,
at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston, WV. The couple resides in
Richmond, VA. Paula is a school guidance counselor with the Hanover
County School System.
Michael A. Andlinger '92 married Beth Ann Mysliwiec on Oct. 26,
1996, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville. John is
employed by WesBanco as an assistant manager for trust operations. Beth
Ann is a staff occupational therapist for Easter Seal Rehabilitation
Center. The couple resides in Wheeling, WV.
Heidi Jugo '92 married Edward F. Hudson II '93 on June 22, 1996.
The couple resides in Pittsburgh, PA. Heidi is a dental resident at
Allegheny General and Edward is attending law school at the Duquesne
University School of Law.
Carole A. Oliveto '92 married Cosmo Servidio '93 on Apr. 19,
1997, in Caldwell, NJ. Carole is a billing coordinator for AOE/RICOH.
Susan Harris '93 married Jeff Rabatin '95 on Dec. 14, 1996. They
reside in Rainelle, WV, where Susan is a physical therapist at Rainelle
Medical Center.
Peggy Catherine Hunnell '93 married Brian Joseph Kent on Oct. 12,
1996, at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Moundsville. Peggy is employed
by Oglebay as a group sales executive, and Brian is a certified public
accountant and purchasing manager in Pittsburgh. They reside in Wheeling, WV.
Stephanie Keller '93 married Mark McMahon '93 on Oct. 21, 1995.
Mark is a consultant for Smith Barney, and Stephanie is a registered
nurse at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrea Cottrill '94 married Matthew Frohnapfel '96 on Aug. 17,
1996. Andrea is a physical therapist at the Charleston Area Medical
Center, and Matt is a history teacher at Charleston Catholic High School.
The couple resides in Charleston, WV.
Tracy Davis '94 married Bill McDade '92 on Sept. 2, 1995. He is a
technology administrator for the Department of Commerce for the NTTC at WJU.
Stacy Ranay Dougherty '94 married Michael Joseph Beegle on Oct.
16, 1996, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Benwood. Stacy is employed
by WV Department of Health and Human Resources in Moundsville. The
couple resides in Moundsville, WV.

Zena Maluk '94 married Luke Farkas '93 on Oct.
5, 1995. Fr. James O'Brien, S.J., co-officiated the wedding. Zena is
employed at East Ohio Regional Hospital as a registered nurse and is
teaching clinicals for West Virginia Northern. She has begun her master's
degree in nursing administration at WJU. Luke is employed by WJU as an
admissions counselor and will graduate with his master's in business
administration in December of 1997.

is employed by Ohio Valley Steel Co.

a homes coordinator for Resort Housing Group, Inc., in Ocean City, MD,
and Frank is employed by General Refrigeration Company in Delmar, DE.
Katherine Donahue '95 married Michael Fenton '95 at St.
Mary's Church in Annapolis, MD, on Aug. 17, 1996. Michael is starting his
own business in computer resales. Katherine is writing for a health care
consulting firm in Washington, DC. They reside in Alexandria, VA.
Angela Yoho '95 married Jeremy Cecil '95 on Apr. 26, 1997. Angela
is an assistant account executive for Porter Novelli in Manhattan, and
Jeremy is a media buyer for McCann-Erickson in New York.
Michael D. Hocking '96 married Mandy L. Marling on Nov. 16, 1996.
They were married at the Lincoln Avenue Methodist Church in Shadyside.
Michael is employed at the Ohio Valley Medical Center as a staff
respiratory therapist. Mandy is employed by Dermatology Associates of
Wheeling. They reside in West Bellaire, OH.
Kevin Sacco '96 married Lori Ann Brown on Oct. 12, 1996, at the
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Kevin is a graduate
assistant at WJU in the office of Campus Life and is pursuing a master's
degree in educational technology. Lori is a legal secretary for
Camilletti, Sacco, and Pizzuti, L.C. The couple resides in Wheeling, WV.
Jan Stuart '96 married Dax Jeffrey Thomas '95 on Apr. 26, 1997.
Jan is a registered nurse at the Albany Medical Center in New York and
Dax is a claim specialist for State Farm Insurance.

Beth (Abraham) Green '75 and her husband, Terry, had a daughter,
Jodi, on May 13, 1996.
Mary Ann (Denning) Sheehan '75 and her husband, John, had a son,
Martin Isaiah, on Sept. 9, 1996. He joins Matthew (5), Kathleen (2) and
Calleigh (1). The family resides in Olney, MD.
Fred Salancy '76 and his wife, Ann, had a daughter, Julianne, on
Oct. 26, 1996. She joins Michael (11) and Abigail (8).
Phil Arnheiter '77 and his wife, Robin, had a son, Derek, on Aug.
25, 1996. He joins brother, Brett (6).
John M. Burke '78 and his wife, Joanie, have adopted a son,
Daniel Benedict, on July 12, 1995. He joins his sister, Maria Anne. The
family resides in Decatus, IL.
Fred Klug '78 and his wife, Jackie, had a daughter, Maggi, on
Mar. 22, 1996. She joins Jeffrey (7) and TJ (4). They reside in O'Fallon,
IL, where he is an inquires officer with the Air Mobility Command
Inspector General's Office. Jackie is a registered nurse in the
neurological intensive care unit.

Jonathan, on Feb. 1, 1997.

daughter, Holland Therese, on Oct. 30, 1995. She joins her brother,

Mary (Wojcik) Holubeck '82 and her husband, Gary, had a son,
Garrett, on Jan. 31, 1996. He joins Brett, Annie and Luke. The family
resides in St. Clairsville, OH. Mary is a staff and registered nurse in
Wheeling, WV.
Carol (Liber) Lane '82 and her husband, Brian, had a daughter,
Allison Marie, on July 29, 1996. She joins sister, Shannon (2).
Michelle (Byers) McCullion '82 and her husband, Michael, had a
son, Brady Thomas, on Dec. 23, 1996. The family resides in Sterling, VA.
Carrie (Ritz) Brazell '84 and her husband, Ken, had a daughter,
Leah Renee, on June 22, 1996.
Donna (Walsh) Dorsey '85 and her husband, Bernie '82, had a son,
Sean Michael, on Dec. 14, 1995. The family resides in Eugene, OR.
Betsi (Levis) Kelly '85 and her husband, Thomas, had a daughter,
Amelia Rose, on Aug. 22, 1996. She joins brother, Maxwell Ryan.
Enrique Meana '85 and his wife, Christina, had a daughter, Amanda
Victoria, on Sept. 18, 1996. She joins her sister, Olivia Christina (4).
Enrique is a training and staff development manager for the Chimes. The
family resides in Abingdon, MD.
Janine (Gooler) Callahan '87 and her husband, Brian '87, had a
son, Matthew Joseph, on Dec. 19, 1996. Janine is a transportation planner
for Parsons Brinckerhoff, and Brian is the director of international
operations for South America, Asia and Australia with Roadshow
International. The family resides in Silver Spring, MD.
George Jones '87 and his wife, Holli, had a daughter, Hannah
Elizabeth, on Dec. 9, 1996. George is the southeastern regional sales
manager for Sunrise Technologies. The family resides in Tallahassee, FL.
Christopher Lowe '87 and his wife, Julie, had a daughter, Clara
Christine, on Apr. 10, 1997. They reside in Gaithersburg, MD, where
Christopher works for the US Agency for International Development's
Office of US Foreign Disaster Assistance.
Mark Mancinelli '87 and his wife, Tracy, had a daughter, Anya, on
Oct. 20, 1996. They reside in Roswell, GA.
Kris (Runkel) Wilson '87 and her husband, Jay, had twins, Gregory
Carmen and Nicholas Pryce, on Aug. 20, 1996.
Melissa (Pelkey) Winesburg '87 and her husband, Jay, had a
daughter, Jessica Michelle, on Dec. 11, 1995.

Rebecca L. (Tofaute) Johnson '88 and her husband, Robert, had a
son, Zachariah Charles, on Feb. 20, 1996. He joins his brother, Jeremiah
Robert (7). She is a level III respiratory therapist at the Charlotte
Institute of Rehabilitation. The family resides in Charlotte, NC.
Lori (Tinley) Mannino '88 and her husband, Christopher '87, had a
son, James William, on Jan. 11, 1997. Lori is a social worker in a school
for emotionally disturbed children. Chris works for Winchester Homes in
Baltimore, MD, as network manager.
Lauren Marie (Farkas) McDonald '88 and her husband, Mike, had a
son, Benjamin Michael, born on July 16, 1996. He joins his sister, Mary
Elizabeth (2). They reside in Slippery Rock, PA.
George M. Migias '88 and his wife, Stephanie, had a son, Marios
George, on Sept. 9, 1996. George is an area accounts manager for
Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories. The family resides in Bloomsburg, PA.
Marcie (Ebbert) Quagliani '88 and her husband, Dennis, had a son,
Benjamin James, on Aug. 21, 1996. They reside in Winchester, KY.
Karen (Evans) Schwartzkoph '88 and her husband, Scott, had a
daughter, Samantha Rae, on Sept. 25, 1996. Karen is a public relations
coordinator for Heilig-Meyers Company. The family resides in Richmond, VA.
Kathee (Pastor) Small '88 and her husband, Joe, had a son,
Benjamin, on May 13, 1996. He joins his brother, Dylan. They reside in
Westminster, MD. Kathee is employed by MedCorp International as a
national director of autotransfusion.
Jamie (Arslain) Sokos '88 and her husband, Matthew, adopted a
son, James Matthew. He joins his brother, Gus (2). They reside in
Wheeling, WV, where Jamie is currently a registered nurse.
Catherine (Wirts) Wheeler '88 and her husband, William, had a
son, Patrick Noah, on Nov. 1, 1996. He joins his sister, Dana Kathleen.
Catherine is a specialist of Info-Systems for Bell Atlantic. They reside
in Ellicott City, MD.
Michael Connor '89 and his wife, Michelle, had a daughter, Taylor
Nicole, on Sept. 22, 1996. She joins her brother, Michael (2). The family
resides in Swarthmore, PA. Michael is a merchandising manager for the
Philadelphia Phillies.
Doug Kepreos '89 and his wife, Jennifer, had a son, Brandt James.
The family resides in Bridgeville, PA.
Dawn (York) Kindley '89 and her husband, Zane, had a daughter,
Abigail Renee, on Nov. 18, 1996. She joins her sister, Rachel Elizabeth
(4). Dawn is a social and children's services supervisor for Darke County
Department of Human Services. Zane is an attorney and assistant director
of Butler County CSEA.
Michael Carney '90 and his wife, Donna, had a son, David Michael,
on Mar. 3, 1997.
Colleen (Riley) Merriman '90 and her husband, Robert, had a son,
Joshua Andrew, on June 13, 1996. He joins his sister, Emily Rose (3). The
family resides in Wintersville, OH. Colleen is a tech specialist in
nuclear medicine for Trinity East.
Cara (Patrick) Gazdik '92 and her husband, Jeff, had a son, Alex
Hunter, on Feb. 2, 1997.
Margaret (Zoeckler) Leach '92 and her husband, Michael '90, had a
son, Joshua Michael, on Feb. 28, 1997. He joins his brother, Alexander
(15 months).
Gretchen (Schlueter) Martino '92 and her husband, Joseph '93, had
a son, Vincent Joseph, on Feb. 7, 1997. The family resides in Wayne, PA.
Joseph is an information systems director at XRT, Inc.
Staci (Fannin) Trudo '92 and her husband, Glenn, had a son,
Garrett Edward, on Aug. 1, 1996. They reside in St. Clairsville, OH.
Staci is a staff nurse at the Ohio Valley Medical Center.

daughter, Linda Ludmilla, on Oct. 9, 1996. They reside in Cincinnati, OH.

Charlotte (Paull) Yarbrough '68 passed away on Nov. 11, 1991. She
resided in Dayton, Ohio.
Adam Kusnierz '75 passed away on Oct. 27, 1995. He is the
relative of Matthew Kusnierz '79, who died in 1980.
Richard Yocum '77 passed away on Mar. 5, 1997. He resided in
Parkersburg with his wife, Tammy.
David Scarberry '92 passed away in February of 1995. He resided
in Mineral Wells, WV.
Charna Funk '97 passed away in February of 1997. She resided in

professor of modern languages at WJU, passed away on Mar. 9, 1997.

grandmother of Lara Denise, graduate assistant with the Campus Ministry
at WJU.
Gerald Elerick passed away on Oct. 18, 1996. He was the
father-in-law of Jackie Elerick, who is employed at WJU in the Academic
Affairs Office.
Catherine Evans, mother of Rick Evans '70, and aunt of John
Bodson '65, passed away on Feb. 19, 1997.
John Gashlin, father of Kevin Gashlin who is employed at WJU in
the NTTC building, passed away on Jan. 18, 1997.
Meta Harrington, mother to Sr. Jane Harrington '64, adjunct
faculty member at WJU, passed away on Apr. 9, 1997.
Edward L. Hoosey, father of Barbara Lahey who is employed by WJU
in the Bishop Hodges Library, passed away on Dec. 10, 1996.
John L. Hornyak, father of John Hornyak who works in the COTF at

Frank Kolb, brother of Rev. Joseph Kolb, S.J., passed away on

1996 of muscular dystrophy.

Adult Education at WJU, passed away on Jan. 3, 1997.
Michael Orr passed away in October of 1996. He was the son of
retired professor of English Paul Orr, and brother of Kathleen '73 and
Moragh (Orr) Montoya-Murcia '79 and brother-in-law of Harry Dorsey '73.
Frank Plano, father of Annette Plano, a first-year student at
WJU, passed away on Nov. 6, 1996.
William Paul Reasbeck, grandfather of John Reasbeck '95,
assistant registrar at WJU, passed away on Dec. 17, 1996.
Ed Roski, brother of Cathy Rector, faculty secretary in the
Physical Therapy department, passed away on Apr. 26, 1997.
Harold C. "Spike" Sacco, father-in-law to Kathy Sacco, music
director at WJU, passed away on Jan. 10, 1997.
Shawna Michelle Salatino, niece of Pam Salatino, who was employed
at the NTTC at WJU, and great niece to Wayne, Carol and Paul Baker passed
away on Dec. 16, 1996.
Alice Smith, wife of Roger Smith who is a security officer at
