Trish (Schafer) Long resides in Powell, OH.  She is retired.  When Trish married her long-time-friend Jim in 1949, she thought she knew him very well.  It wasn't untill his passing in 1997 that she realized that there was more to know.  She started to reserach his military career, only to find out that he was a spy as a member of the Signal Corps 6811th.  He was among an elite group of men who worked to decipher German codes during WWII.  The codebreakers as they were known, saved many lives as a result of their ability to crack German codes.  07/12
