Dear WJU Alumni,

I first want to take the opportunity to introduce myself to anyone I did not have the pleasure of meeting over the weekend as your new Director of Alumni Relations. I am excited to become a part of the team here at WJU and those of you that I have met so far, I want to thank for graciously welcoming me with open arms and for making me feel right at home.

To give you a little background on myself, I originally grew up in the Slippery Rock area of western PA. As an adult I spent 15 years in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh and have recently moved to the Ohio Valley. I now reside in Jefferson County, OH with my husband Rob who is the K9 officer in Steubenville, and my 11 year old ice hockey and baseball playing son Landon. Last but certainly not least as many of you saw, I am in the final stretch of my pregnancy and anxiously await our new arrival any day now- Ryker Miles.

With Alumni Weekend 2018 in the books, I look forward to working with you to improve your experience as a graduate of this unique institution. As your new Director of Alumni, I plan to hit the ground running, creating a plan of action to work collaboratively with not only the Alumni Council and the VP of Advancement, but all graduating classes. I’ve already heard some of your feedback, and welcome more introductions and conversation to help me build a strong bond and trust that will aid in making this program as successful as it can be now, and for generations of Cardinals to come.
