Dear Fellow Alumni,

A full slate of events are being planned to mark Homecoming Weekend. I hope you will join us for this celebration, as well as the Inauguration of  Richard A. Beyer as president.

Events are planned for Sept. 29 - Oct 1 and everyone at Wheeling Jesuit hopes you will return to campus to enjoy a fun filled weekend with your classmates and fellow alumni.

Inaugural festivities kick off on Thursday with a Mass at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Mary and Joseph, followed by a picnic in McShain Plaza. The inauguration of President Beyer begins at 4 p.m., followed by a reception - both events will be held in the McDonough Center.

Friday's activities will feature a Meet the President Reception in The Ratt, a performance by the River City/Wheeling Jesuit Brass Band in Troy Theater and music by The Trainjumpers -- featuring Matt Heusel, WJU class of 1992 - in The RATT.

Saturday there will be the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction, the Student Honors Convocation, the annual Homecoming Parade, Tailgate Party and varsity soccer games. Music on Saturday will be provided by the 80s alumni band, The Ashcats.
