Fr. Adolfo Nicolas, S.J. Elected As New Jesuit Superior General

In Rome on Saturday, January 19, 2008, Fr. Adolfo Nicolas, S.J. was elected to be the new Jesuit Superior General. As the leader of the Society of Jesus, Fr. Nicolas will succeed Fr. Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, S.J., who is retiring from the position at the age of 79.

Alumna Chosen to Head SUNY Center

Beez Schell, Ph.D. '89 Named as Founding Director of the Professional Development Center at SUNY

Lea Ann 'Beez' Schell '89 has been named the founding director of the Professional Development Center at the State University of New York Fredonia.

Schell will begin her new position in June and will hold the faculty rank as a professor in the department of sports management and exercise science.
