Tips to Organize

"All college papers should have a beginning, a middle, and an end."  Okay, this is true.  But why stop there?  Why not know some specific rhetorical strategies available to you to make the organization of your essay as effective as it can be?  The links below offer a variety of methods for communicating information or constructing arguments.  Every essay should contain good ideas.  But the persuasive effect of those ideas often comes from the order in which they are presented.

Purdue University On-line Writing Lab (OWL)
Purdue provides useful discussion, in printable handout form, of more than 100 FAQs of writing, from the basics of grammar, MLA and APA, to resumes, cover letters, and job-seeking. There are also links to hundreds of other useful sites. This is the place to start any writing-related query.
