Black Team Wins Series,
Pounding Out 15 Hits in Game 3
 

On Sunday, The Black team hit and pitched its way to the win, en route to a 7-1 pounding of the Red team. Freshman Jordan Kraus led the way for the Black going 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

WVSU Is Top Choice In WVIAC Baseball Coaches' Poll

PRINCETON, WV, February 4, 2009---Southern Division archrivals West Virginia State and Concord are the most popular choices to claim the 2009 WVIAC baseball title according to the league's head coaches. 

Northern Division favorite Pitt Johnstown was the recipient of two first votes, as was divisional foe Shepherd.

Senior Inducted into Hall of Fame in Pittsburgh

Wheeling Jesuit University senior Hugh Mulvey III was inducted into his high school's Hall of Fame this past weekend. Mulvey's hometown is Pittsburgh, Pa. and he graduated from North Catholic High School. He is the son of Hugh Mulvey, Jr. and Marilyn Mulvey.
