Brian Dennison is in his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Cardinals.

Dennison joined the Cardinal baseball program shortly after the team’s inception and has been instrumental in helping to build the program from the ground up.  On the field, he is an infield and hitting instructor, as well as first base coach.  His off-field duties include performing the bulk of the administrative work for the program, including making travel and meal arrangements and obtaining and maintaining scouting reports of Wheeling Jesuit opponents.

Before joining the coaching staff at WJU, Dennison played collegiately at West Liberty State College, where he garnered starting time at both third base and second base during his four seasons with the Hilltoppers.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from West Liberty in 2004 with a dual major of business management and sports management.  Following his graduation, he began his post-playing career by helping out with the 2005 West Liberty baseball team.
