Volleyball Coach & Former Player to Start Club Team

 

Image of NCAA volleyball logo.Wheeling Jesuit University head volleyball coach Christy Benner, along with former WJU player Brooke Turner, is starting a 15- and under girls' volleyball club team.

 

Benner, a two-time WVIAC Coach of the Year winner, will coach the club team along with former Wheeling Jesuit volleyball player and Weirton native Brooke Turner. Turner won the WVIAC Tournament MVP award in 2003 and was instrumental in helping the Cardinals post an NCAA-best 38-3 record that season.
