Black Team Wins Series,
Pounding Out 15 Hits in Game 3

On Sunday, The Black team hit and pitched its way to the win, en route to a 7-1 pounding of the Red team. Freshman Jordan Kraus led the way for the Black going 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Ryan Venderlic went 2-4 with a single, double and a RBI. Tom Charles was 2-2 with a double, and Noah Mull went 2-5 with a triple, single and an RBI. Mike Ludewig chipped in with 2 RBIs a well.

The Black team received a solid pitching performance from Sean Buckholz who pitched 5 innings of shutout baseball while striking out 3. Dominic San Felippo, Corey Wickham, Adam Parsons, Corey Hull, and Jordan Medley all had singles for the Red team in the loss.

The Cardinal Baseball team will now begin their annual Winter workouts this week. Opening Day is scheduled for March 6th in Winterhaven, Florida, with their home opener on Wednesday March 17th against Point Park.
