Catie Halberstadt records 1000 KILLS

Junior Catie Halberstadt recorded 1000 Kills, making her the second Cardinal to reach this milestone this season. Halberstadt is the eighth player in WJU's history to record 1000 career kills. She recorded number 1000 in a win against Edinboro University, which moved WJU to second in the region. Catie has recorded 341 kills this season placing her seventh all-time with 1088 and gearing up for the WVIAC Conference Tournament. Halberstadt is a three year starter for the Cards and was the Freshman Of The Year in 2006. She was also selected to the 2006 WVIAC All Tournament Team and First Team All Conference in 2007. This year Halberstadt made the All Tournament Team at the Ferris State and Findlay tournaments. Catie is the daughter of Gail Wilges and Jerry Halberstadt.
