LAX Team Shows Holiday Spirit

The Men’s lacrosse team gathered at Wal-Mart with the coaching staff and divided into seven groups before Christmas. All seven groups were responsible for buying gifts for less privileged kids in the Wheeling area.  Each group bought over $100 worth of gifts.  The next day the gifts were delivered and the team’s efforts were greatly appreciated. 

Coach Sothoron on the this event, “I think whenever you can help someone in need you should do so.  Our team did a great job and provided kids with a Christmas to remember.  Otherwise these kids may not receive anything.  Our guys bought things such as toys, clothes, games, bikes etc.  I think this is something that really makes a difference and our team really enjoyed it.  We will continue to help the community as much as we can.  If our guys enjoy doing these things as young men they will continue to do so once they have graduated.”
