Cardinals Take Tigers

Salem, WV, Jan. 28, 2010---Wheeling Jesuit Men found themselves down one at the break against Salem International University on Thursday evening in a back-and-forth battle which showcased 10 lead changes and four ties in the first half.

Recardo Gaddy's three-pointer snapped a 65-all deadlock with 2:53 left to play and gave Wheeling Jesuit the win over Salem International, 70-67.

WJU's Steve Catich led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down 9-of-15 on the night. Gaddy, Brenden Bazilio, and Pete Brogdon all had nine points while Obi Ukwuoma grabbed a team high six rebounds.

Wheeling Jesuit moves to 10-4 overall and 7-4 in WVIAC play.

The Cardinals travel to Concord University on Saturday, January 30 for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
