Jesuit Swims Well at Invite

Indiana, PA, November 22, 2008---The Wheeling Jesuit Women placed 5th at the Crimson Hawk Invite with a total of 397 points falling to winner IUP who tallied 1087 points.  The men scored 396 also falling to host IUP.  This was the last meet of the first semester for the Cardinals before heading to Orlando, Florida for their Christmas Training Trip.

Coach Rick West said, “Our team did a great meet.  Almost two thirds of our team are freshman, so this is their first opportunity to experience a prelims/finals meet”. 

“Everyone on our team had a lifetime best in at least one event,” said West. “This is a great accomplishment for only a three day rest without shaving.”
