Jesuit Men Defeat Findlay, Share Loss with Women to IUP

Wheeling,WV, November 1, 2008---The Jesuit Men’s team topped Findlay 51-44 while the women fell 56-38.  Both teams lost to IUP, the men 52-43 and the women 84-11.

The key and only win of the day came in the opening event, the 400 Medley Relay.  Logan Weaver, Kevin Rico, Sergio Bracamontes & Max Queale won the event with a time of 3:48.46

“IUP’s women’s and men’s team are ranked 19th and 20th respectively.  Again we have improved our schedule with the intentions of improving our team,” Head Coach Rick West said. “Findlay also comes from a great conference in the GLIAC, our men’s team also are showing their continued growth with this win.”

“As we continue to grow and improve on the women’s side the results will come also”, West said.
