Fairmont, WV, Feb.15, 2010---The Wheeling Jesuit women’s basketball team (9-12, 8-8) bounced back from a pair of overtime losses by defeating the Falcons of Fairmont State University (15-7, 12-5) Monday night, 83-77.
In a game which featured seven lead changes and four ties, the Lady Cardinals caught fire in the second half. They made 61 percent of their field goals on 17-of-28 shooting, including a 4-of-8 performance from downtown.
