Wheeling Jesuit Women Outscored in Second Half

Daytona Beach, Fl, Dec. 29, 2009---Wheeling Jesuit women's basketball team was outscored 31-12 by Lee University in the final ten minutes to drop their second game 71-84 in the Daytona Beach Shootout.
 
Sophomore Kourtney Booth had an impressive night from the field, pouring in 25 points on 8 of 13 shooting.  She was a perfect 4 of 4 from the free throw line and knocked down five of nine attempts from beyond the arc. 

Sophomore Cassy Sanderson was 50 percent from the floor, including a three for six showing from deep, as she tallied 15 points for the Lady Cards.  The final Cardinal to reach double-digits was senior Kim Mueller as she added ten to the 71 point total while pulling down a team high six rebounds.
 
The Lady Cards will be back in action at the Alma Grace McDonough Center in Wheeling as the take on Conference opponent West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Tip off is set for 6:00 p.m.
