Chrissy Pavlik led Wheeling Jesuit with 18 points in their upset of West Virginia Wesleyan.(CHARLESTON, W.Va.)---Chrissy Pavlik made a pair of free throws with 1:16 remaining for the game's final points as Wheeling Jesuit (15-14) continued the day's string of upsets with a 53-52 triumph over WVIAC regular season champion West Virginia Wesleyan (19-9).

Stuvek Turns in Double-Double, Lady Cards Fly South

Wheeling, WV, Mar. 1, 2010--- The Wheeling Jesuit women's basketball team has opened the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament against the University of Pitt-Johnstown for the third consecutive year. In 2008, the Lady Cards came away with a 77-76 overtime victory while last year Pitt-Johnstown pulled off the win, 62-59.

Pavlik Scorches Rival for 33 Points

Wheeling, WV, Feb. 27, 2010---In front of the largest crowed of the season, Chrissy Pavlik recorder her second 30 point performance this year. Pavlik had a career high 33 points against arch-rival West Liberty University. The Lady Cardinals dropped a heartbreaker Saturday afternoon, 78-70, as Wheeling Jesuit was outscored by a 12-1 margin over the final 2:04 in the regular-season finale at the McDonough Center.

Lady Cards Pressure Battlers

Philippi, WV, Feb. 25, 2010---The Lady Cardinals (13-13, 12-9) played tenacious defense in the second half and ran away with a 56-33 conference win over the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus College (7-19, 6-15) on Thursday evening. The win moves them into the eighth place in the WVIAC and in position to host a first round tournament game.

Former Assistant Basketball Coach Katie Hine Selected To Lead The Lady Cardinals

Wheeling, WV, Aug. 3, 2009 --- Wheeling Jesuit University Athletic Director Danny Sancomb announced this week that the university has hired former assistant basketball coach Katie Hine to lead the women’s basketball program. Hine served two years as assistant coach and four years as a player for the Lady Cards under former Head Coach Joe Key.
