Bryan Clontz, CFP
Creative Charitable Planning with Non-Cash Assets
Bryan Clontz will cover how to potentially maximize your clients’ deductions through untapped assets such as real estate, privately held C corporations, S corporations, LLCs, limited partnerships and other unique assets. This highly interactive session will employ case studies to illuminate the key points for both non-profit and for-profit professionals.

Linda Duessel, CFA
Economic Overview
Ms. Duessel will review and discuss key issues affecting, and that will likely affect, the economy in the near term, including her outlook for major world economies and recent developments in the U.S. and global financial markets.

Mark Yochum, JD
Supervision: The Ethical Requirement of Supervision of Non‑Professional Employees
Professor Yochum will discuss the ethical requirement of supervision of non‑professional employees and the changing nature of how law and accountancy is practiced. Often new, non-professionals are hired by (typically) sole practitioners who insist that the associate be treated as an independent contractor... a practice that not only implicates tax law, but also ethics. Mark’s presentation will explore these practical ethical issues in a way that will make you laugh, and perhaps even cry.

Jeffery Wright, JD
Key Oil & Gas Tax Considerations from the Landowner's Perspective
Mr. Wright will provide an overview and update of some of the key tax provisions related to domestic oil and gas exploration & production activities, with a particular emphasis on some of the key tax considerations from the perspective of the landowner.

Frank Fisher, CPA, MST, MBA
Income Tax Legislation Update
Mr. Fisher will address tax issues for both individuals and small business in regards to planning. Discussion will focus on recent and pending legislative changes in light of the upcoming presidential election.
