Shop Early to Avoid the Crowds.

To order textbooks early visit our website at www.wju.bkstr.com. There you will find a complete listing of all the textbooks and supplies that are required for your courses. Information for Fall and Spring semesters will be available at least four weeks prior to the start of classes.

Because website orders are filled here at the campus shop, the current on hand inventory of new and used available for each class will appear. Due to new editions, and other factors, used books may not be available for certain titles. If "missing information" shows up for a course, it means that the bookstore has not received any information for that course. As soon as we are notified it will appear. We will be glad to assemble and box your order early so it can be picked up when you arrive on campus.

Consider Used Textbooks.

Another advantage to shopping early is you will have first pick of our selection of used books. Used books usually sell out the first few days of school. You will save approximately 25% over the cost of a new textbook when you purchase used books. Unfortunately, used books sell out very quickly and may not be available for every class.

How do I find my books?

We have an excellent staff that are here to help you with any questions or problems you might have. We will assist you in locating all the required, and supplemental books and supplies you will need.

All textbooks are arranged by course in alphabetical order and then in numerical order. (e.g. ACC 123-01, ACC 124-01, ACC 316-01 - Then BIO, etc.) The last two digits of the course number are the section number. The section number is very important because different faculty teach different sections. Each professor may not require the same books. Therefore, it is imperative that you know which section you are enrolled in to insure you are purchasing the correct book.

Required or recommended?

Each book will have a course card on the shelf in our campus shop. This card will have all the information you will need. It contains which course number and section, the professors name, and if that book is required or recommended.

How many books?

Each course card will list ____ of ____ required. (1 of 1 required, 1 of 3 required, 2 of 3 required, 3 of 3 required) The cards also list the optional and/or recommended books the same way.

Do I need to bring anything?

Your schedule - When you register for you courses, you will receive a printout of the course numbers and sections. Bring this schedule with you to be certain you are purchasing the correct books in our campus shop. (Remember, certain sections of the same class might use different books.)
