Join the Gambol
Tradition
Our annual Gambol production is a lively fairy-tale-turned-wrong story this spring.
"Into the Woods," with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book
by James Lapine, takes what is thought of as "happy ever after" and
gives it a twist of reality. The musical is presented to the public at 8 p.m.,
April 6, 7 and 8 and at 2 p.m. April 9 in Troy Theater.

On the
Scent for Alert Drivers
The scent
of peppermint or cinnamon may keep you more alert and decrease your frustration
when you're behind the wheel. That's according to the results of a recent study
led by Will Esgro, one of our undergraduate students. According to the study,
which is receiving international media attention, both cinnamon and peppermint
led to increased ratings of alertness and lower frustration. Cinnamon also decreased
drivers' fatigue ratings. Will worked with Dr. Bryan Raudenbush, Director of Undergraduate
Research and associate professor of psychology.

and condolences of the University community on the death of Mrs. Erma Ora Byrd.
Mrs. Byrd lived a graced life, exemplifying the two great commandments of her
Christian faith: the love of God, and the love of neighbor. The University held
