Message from Nurse Coordinator

Information sent via the e-mail link below will be used solely to track flu symptoms at Wheeling Jesuit University. The information may be shared with the Nurse Coordinator, the Dean of Student Development, Associate Academic Dean, Resident Directors, and the Associate Dean of Residence Life. If you are not comfortable sharing this information via e-mail (iamsick@wju.edu) or if you have health concerns, other than the flu, please contact the Student Health Center directly at 304-243-2275.

The WJU Student Health Center is dedicated to maintaining the privacy of you personal information as part of providing professional care. We are also required by law to keep your information private. By clicking on the e-mail link above you are authorizing Wheeling Jesuit University Student Wellness Center to use your e-mailed information to assist in providing the best possible health care to you and the campus community.

If you're not feeling well with what might be flu symptoms, it's best for you not to venture out of your room or home. Instead, we ask that you consider alerting those on campus who can best assist you via email; doing so will enable us to send someone to your room to check in and see how you are doing.

Flu symptoms to look out for:

  • A fever higher than 100.5.
  • Congestion, cough or sore throat
  • Sudden onset of illlness
  • Exposure to someone else with the flu

We ask that you include your name, residence hall and room number (if applicable) and the best phone number to reach you at in your email.
