CINAHL Full Text (Link to Database – On-campus/Off-campus) - resource contains indexing for 2,928 nursing journals from 1981 to the present. In addition, full text is available for nearly 600 journals.
Medline(Link to Database – On-campus/Off-campus)- Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE allows users to search abstracts from over 4,600 current biomedical journals.
Alt HealthWatch (Link to Database - On-campus/Off-campus) - Alternative health database provides full text for 180 publications in the collection, including full text for many peer-reviewed journals. Alt HealthWatch provides in-depth coverage across the full spectrum of subject areas covered by complementary and alternative medicine dating back to 1990.
Consumer Health Complete (Link to Database - On-campus/Off-campus) - Comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health content. Designed to support patients' information needs and foster an overall understanding of health-related topics.
PsycARTICLES(Link to Database – On-campus/Off-campus) - Database covers general psychology and specialized, basic, applied, clinical and theoretical research in psychology. The database contains more than 39,000 searchable full text articles from 45 journals published by the American Psychological Association and 8 from allied organizations. It contains all journal articles, letters to the editor and errata from each of the 53 journals. Examples of titles offered in PsycARTICLES include: American Psychologist, Behavioral Neuroscience, Canadian Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychoanalytic Psychology, Psychotherapy: Theory/Research/Practice/Training, etc. Coverage spans from 1985 to the present.
PsycINFO(Link to Database – On-campus/Off-campus) - From the American Psychological Association, contains over two million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in the field of psychology, dating as far back as 1840. Journal coverage, which dates back to the 1800s, includes international material selected from nearly 2,000 periodicals in over 35 languages. More than 65,000 records are added each year. It also includes information about the psychological aspects of related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business and law.
