- Technologies to prevent and control insect infestation: Methods of preventing and controlling the spread of insect infestations using nontoxic, food grade ingredients.
- Antimicrobial screening for pathogens: Study and screening of local flora for compounds that exhibit antimicrobial, and/or anticancer properties.
- Light-weight CBRN Residstant Fabic: Development of light-weight, material/fabric that is flexible, durable and actively protects against various types of contaminants such as, radiation, toxic chemicals, and biological agents.
- "Intelligent Textiles" to combat nosocomial ailments: Textiles containing novel microbiocidal agents to aid with infection control in hospital and clinics.
- "Intelligent Textiles" for Outdoors: Textiles for recreational and personal uses that deter and eliminate insects and reduced incident of vector-borne disease.
- Bio-Energy Generation: Development of residential and industrial bioreactors to eliminate waste and generate fuel or electricity utilizing microbial biochemistry.
- Language Education Software: Designed of new platform to enhance the classroom experience by networking teachers and students together at multiple locations via a web-based graphical user interface (GUI) functionalities including captions, the ability to share and view files, instant messageing, grammar and spell check, phonetic instruction, text-to-speech, and many more.
- Patients monitoring: Development of equipment that continually monitors data via Smart Textiles. Smart Textiles are clothing (T-Shirts, underwear, etc) with miniature sensors embedded that are comfortably and continually attached to patients.
