The Office of Global Outreach (OGO) at Wheeling Jesuit University (WJU) was originally established in the summer of 2008 to create relationships with foreign academic institutions, increase student (foreign) exchange activities and grow multiculturalism on Wheeling Jesuit’s campus. Relationships have been created and partnerships established with premier institutions in Argentina (Universidad Católica de Cordoba) and Spain (Universidad de Deusto).

Through developing these partnerships the OGO became increasingly aware of collaborative research opportunities with the international institutions, their governments and private partners. The OGO now works with Wheeling Jesuit’s faculty to conduct research in areas of material science, biochemistry and information technology to initiate these collaborative opportunities.
