RN to BSN Program Course Requirements*
Especially designed for the motivated adult learner and working registered nurse, this program is offered through a distance format. Students complete most course work through the Internet and clinical experience in their communities. Campus visits are required once or twice per semester for most courses
RN to MSN Program Course Requirements*
At the completion of this online program, the graduate achieves both the BSN degree and the MSN degree. Students in this program complete up to five graduate (MSN) courses that count toward both the BSN and MSN degrees giving them a “jump start” into the MSN program. Students may choose any of the three MSN tracks listed below in the MSN section. Students complete most course work through the Internet and clinical experience in their communities. Campus visits are required once or twice per semester for most courses.

Nursing Administration Course Requirements*
This online MSN program is designed to enhance the graduate's knowledge of both nursing and administration since many management positions expect the nurse to be both a clinician and a manager.
Nursing Education Specialist Course Requirements*
This online MSN program is for nurses interested in teaching in an academic setting or in a health care agency. This program is designed to enhance both nursing and education knowledge and skills.
Family Nurse Practitioner Course Requirements*
The graduate of this mostly online MSN program is prepared to apply to take a national certifying examination in the area of family nurse practitioner. Most courses are offered online, however clinical hours are completed at an approved clinical site. Currently, enrollment is limited to students from regional areas local to the WJU campus to ensure the student's experience in the clinical setting.
*Clinical experiences usually occur in the student's home community.
