Wheeling Jesuit University's Nursing programs are designed to meet the needs of adult students who are working full time and want to advance their careers. Offering graduate and undergraduate programs, WJU's nursing programs offer a variety of advantages to a working professional. Programs are offered in Nursing and Second Degree Nursing.

Post-Nursing Master’s Certificate Family Nurse Practitioner
Program Level - Post Masters Certificate
Program Length - 2.5 years
Student enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate program are prepared to be employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner (SOC Code #29-1170).
Students enrolling in the program are required to complete 27 credit hours of course work. By enrolling part-time, student should expect the program to take 2.5 years.
Tuition for the program is $17,955. Fees for the program total $1305. Books and supplies should be estimated at $2000 for the program. Note: This cost information is subject to change.
Financing for this program may be available through federal loans, private loans, scholarships and institutional payment plan. The median amount of debt for program graduates is being withheld to preserve the confidentiality of the graduates, since there were fewer than 10 graduates during the 2016-17 academic year.
Students completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate program are 95% gainfully employed as a Nurse Practitioner upon completion of their certificate.
