Established in 1954, Wheeling Jesuit University consistently is ranked as one of America's top regional colleges by US News & World Report and other organizations.

It is the youngest Jesuit institution of higher learning in the United States and the only Catholic institution of higher learning in West Virginia.

It's the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence and service to others which draws a global student body of more than 1,580 undergraduate and graduate students from 28 states and more than 25 countries to its 65-acre campus.

WJU offers more than 50 programs of study, 19 NCAA Division II athletic teams and more than 40 student-run clubs and organizations. The student/faculty ratio is 13:1.
